One of our many memories with Whitey was being a member of the Chiefs softball team family. We had a song for him that was to the tune of New York New York. 🎶“These Chief town kids are begging to play, they want to be a part of it Chief tones, Chief tones. So if we make it there and Whitey pays the fare it’s up to you Chief tones Chief tones.🎶”. Whitey got us there often and have fond memories along the way. Rest in peace. Gary and Sheila Zweifel

Danny was a very interesting man. He was proud of his heritage and he was definitely smarter than most people gave him credit for. R.I.P Danny i was lucky to call you my friend!

Knew Danny in the 1970's as a pitcher for Chief Auto Parts. We had many memories of softball games and tournaments. Always loved the competition and Danny's managerial abilities. He was a part of my past and will be forever grateful to be part of the Chief Auto Parts family. May you rest in peace my friend.

I loved Danny. I met him through my brother Jim Sponem, during the early years of Chief Auto Parts. We had many great conversations and lots of giggles. He had a contagious giggle which I can still hear. He was definitely a character but always friendly and kind to me. I enjoyed him, and he has now been met by a lot of buddies on the other side. My condolences to the Whitehorse Family. Peace, Prayers and 💕 Love
