Dear Lucille, You've always been the glue that holds this family together. You loved everybody, & they loved you back. Congratulations for putting some pretty impressive people on this earth. It's quite a legacy! Rest in peace, Lucille. We'll see you down the road! Love, Bill Hamner

Luceille /Grandma Ackerman was a kind loving lady. No matter what the circumstances she always found good in everyone and nearly everoad well. “Grandma Ackerman carried Jesus Christ with her everyday of her life. What a great card player and fancier of flowers, especially orchids. In loving memory for all she was and is with Our Lord now in heaven without loving anymore pain. Thank GOD for women like her to create memories forever.

I was honored to be Lucille and Paul’s physician for many years. And they both were both wonderful people. If I ever had a bad day, they perked me up with their smile, kindness, and humor. In addition, I remember very well their pride and love for their family, particularly for their children and all their extended family members. Family was important certainly, but so was their faith. Please accept my sincere sympathy at this loss. Greg Sheehy MD
