Dear Aunt Ramona,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I remember spending time with him at family reunions in Michigan. Uncle Carl was a good man and one that served his country proudly! We both spoke at length about his service in the Army together.
Two generations who served. The stories he shared with me and so many other service members, and more importantly the sacrifices he made. They are never forgotten. So remember, it is people like Carl who make this country great.
I am proud of him and I know you are too.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences and remember he lives on in our hearts.
