My Dad (Gene Prescott) just informed me today of the news of Jim's passing. I had a handful of privileged occasions to do some pheasant hunting with my Dad and Jim. my Dad and i still talked about the fun time we had while hunting with Jim. i actually have a shotgun that my Dad gave me for Christmas that he bought (stole) frome Jim (i think Jim gave him a heck of a buy on it to keep me excited about hunting). I still use that same gun today, 37 years later, and still appreciate it as much as always. in my short , young time with him i really thought he was quite a character and a real "Genuine Joe".
