James Lundquist

Lundquist, James JimMADISON-James Jim Lundquist, age 70, of Madison passed away from an extended illness on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009. He was born on May 5, 1939, in Madison, the son of Ivar and Marie (Michael) Lundquist. Jim married Gloria Loff on Jan. 23, 1965, in Lodi. He graduated from Madison West High School. Jims last employment was farming with his brother-in-law in Dane for 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a real jokester. Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gloria; daughter, Julie; son-in-law, Bill Dennis; brother-in-law, Neil Loff; sister-in-law, Lois Loff; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcia; two brothers; one sister; and brother-in-law, Roger Loff. Funeral services will be held at BURKE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5720 Portage Rd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, with the Rev. Russ Leeper presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Burke Lutheran Cemetery.
