Julia and I are very, very sorry to hear of Baines' passing. I will never forget those chats with him at the kitchen table while waiting for Robert to come up from 'the snakepit'. He was a very kind and gentle man and treated all of Robert's friends as his 'other sons'. Please extend our sympathies to David, Fran, Gus and especially your mom. I'm sorry that I won't be able to get back to Madison however... our thoughts are with you.
