William Hommowun

Hommowun, William A. "Bill" SUN PRAIRIE - William Andrew "Bill" Hommowun passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at home. He was born March 20, 1954, to William and Lillian (Kukoy) Hommowun in Morris Plains, N.J. In 1967, the family moved to Hanover Park, Ill., where they resided for many years. Bill graduated from Schaumburg High School class of 1972. He then attended the University of Illinois. In 1978, Bill met Patricia Anderson in Madison, with whom he later married and they had three children. Bill was an avid member of the community working with the little league, youth hockey programs, and the summer and high school swim programs. He is remembered as a wonderful father, completely devoted to his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Bill is survived his children, Kristen (Adam), Brandon, and Kathryn and their mother, Patricia; two grandchildren, Xavier and Karlee; his parents; seven brothers, Bob (Kathy), Mike (Diana), Tom (Connie), George (Elaine), Chris (JoEllen), Steve and Andy (Vivian); a sister, Barbara (Greg); 19 nieces and nephews; and five great-nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007. A private family service will be held for the family on Wednesday Oct. 10, 2007. In lieu of flowers and gifts, we ask that you make a donation to the American Heart Association in Bills name.
