Saeman, Barbara J. CROSS PLAINS - Barbara J. Saeman, age 59, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2007, after a long battle with leukemia. She graduated from Edgewood High School and Marquette University. She worked for Dr. Lee Groth, an orthodontist, Holy Name Seminary and most currently the state of Wisconsin Supreme Court. Barb is survived by her parents, Ken and Bernice Saeman; two sisters, Mary (Jerry) Anderson of Monona, and Jean (Steve) Wesolowski of Menomonee Falls; three nephews, Bill (Lamarra) Nelson, John Anderson, James Wesolowski; and a niece, Jennifer Wesolowski. A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara J. Saeman will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 6 p.m. at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes Street, Cross Plains, with Monsignor Raymond Kertz presiding. Friends and relatives may call at the church on Thursday, May 3, 2007, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or HospiceCare, Inc., in memory of Barb.

To Barbara's family-
I was having dinner with a priest friend of mine - Father Larry Bakke and he told me today that Barbara had passed away. Please know of my shock and sadness. She was a wonderful woman. I knew her when she was the Secretary for Holy Name Seminary when I was a student there. I talked to her almost every single day for 2 years until I left at the end of my sophmore year. She was a very special lady and I have alot of wonderful memories of her kindness, her joyful personality and her joyful spirit. I'm sorry that I didn't know she was sick - I would have loved to have seen her one more time. I did have the blessing of seeing her a few years ago at Concerts on the Square in Madison and had a conversation with her - it was good to see her warm and wonderful smile again!
I wish for your family every blessing and peace that the world has to give.
