My mom shared much love and wisdom. The memory I often land on is when she (and my dad…mostly my dad) was not agreeing with some of my choices. My dad was just trying to make me change my choices and my mom said “I don’t have to agree with everything you do to love you.” We need that wisdom so much, Thanks mom! 😊😇

I had the great privilege and pleasure of zooming with my mom every night for over 3 years. I treasure our chats, our sing-alongs, tracking grizzly #399, sharing the delight of watching internet videos of toddlers hear or see well for the first time, and seeing her bask in the joy of having several family members join us on zoom for special occasions. My mother loved us fiercely and unconditionally, and she has set the motherhood bar way too high for the rest of us. I aspire to be as grand, elegant, and wise.

My mom with my sister, Laurie at St Mary's in Keyesville. My mom taught us to love fiercely and importance of faith, grace, mercy, courage, loyalty, and forgiveness ~ and I'm still learning.
