Dear Julie and Paul and your families Mary Jo was a wonderful neighbor and friend in the late ‘60’s and ‘70’s when we lived on Academy Dr. She was always positive, upbeat, and had a wonderful smile. You chose a great picture which represents your Mom’s fantastic smile. Mary Jo and I shared lots of fun times, one of which was playing bridge together. In November, 2015 Mary Jo, Nancy Miller, Jeannine Bultman , and I (“The Old Bridge Hens” ) got together for lunch to reminisce about happy times together. How sad to lose such a great lady! I have so many nice memories of times spent at the Meier home on Cross Lake in Pine City with all the relatives. My sincere sympathy to Bill and the family. My love to you all Cyndi Meier.

I was so sorry to hear of Mary Jo's passing. Bill and Mary Jo were good friends and we had good times in Madison playing bridge and at neighborhood dances. I have very good memories of both of them. I had dinner with Mary Jo in March while she was in Sun City West, AZ. We had a very nice visit talking about "old" times. My Sincere Sympathy Glenn Grumann
