Dear Marte and family, I am so deeply saddened to receive this news. Marte I know from our many conversations that he was truly your soulmate. While no words can say enough to comfort you, I hope that you will find comfort in the many years of memories you have and in the pride you can take in the children that you raised together. My daddy has always been there to scoop me ice cream, listen to sappy 70's music with me, and save me whenever my car broke down. I get my kind heart from my dad, but I can only hope to someday become as selfless as he was. My dad was hardworking, humble, forgiving, and the best man I have ever known. The lessons he taught me and the love he gave me are absolutely priceless. I am so proud to be my father's daughter. I could never possibly put into words how much he meant to me. I am excited to see Dad in the sky when Jesus Christ comes back.

I'm so sorry for your loss, my prayers continue for each one of you as God heals your hearts. I will miss running into Donnie around town, he always had such an amazing way to make you feel special and loved, and he always took the time to stop and see how i was doing.
