Dear baby Ji'ale, I will never forget the precious hours I spent holding you. You were such a calm and peaceful baby in my arms that it was hard to let you go. I will always remember how you came so alert and active when your father held you, you got so excited and tried so hard to focus on his face. It was clear to me that you were a child who felt loved, safe and connected deeply to both your parents, and that made me so happy for you. We'll never understand or know why you had to leave us so soon, but you could not have been more loved. You will be missed always, and your memory will be treasured.
