Al was a great friend. We worked together on many Boy Scout Training classes teaching Knife & Ax Safety, Wilderness Survival and Camp-Craft. He was always a joy and pleasure to work with. Later on I attended many of his 'Tai Chi' Classes. We hunted together and enjoyed an occasional beverage. He will be missed. "Thank You Al for the skills and knowledge you shared with me"!!!
My condolences to Family and Friends .... my prayers are with you!!!!
Sincerely,
Mike Smith

I can count Al as one of the GO-TO people in Scouting. I turned to him many times for advice on projects and training both on the Troop and Council level. Al will surly be missed. My condolences to his family.

Enjoyed working with Al at Oscar Mayer. The projects that we worked on were always easier when Al was the head engineer. I took up trap shooting a year ago and was surprised to run into Al. As at Oscar Mayer, Al was my mentor on the trap range. Thanks Al. So sorry for your lose Maurine and family.
