Al was a great friend. We worked together on many Boy Scout Training classes teaching Knife & Ax Safety, Wilderness Survival and Camp-Craft. He was always a joy and pleasure to work with. Later on I attended many of his 'Tai Chi' Classes. We hunted together and enjoyed an occasional beverage. He will be missed. "Thank You Al for the skills and knowledge you shared with me"!!!
My condolences to Family and Friends .... my prayers are with you!!!!
Sincerely,
Mike Smith

Enjoyed working with Al at Oscar Mayer. The projects that we worked on were always easier when Al was the head engineer. I took up trap shooting a year ago and was surprised to run into Al. As at Oscar Mayer, Al was my mentor on the trap range. Thanks Al. So sorry for your lose Maurine and family.

I spent most of my time with Al "behind the rail" watching our sons bowl from grade school through high school at Ten Pin Alley. Al, Gary Kaat and I identified and solved a lot of the world's problems. I was amazed to continually discover his unusual life experiences. Jennifer, Danny and I send our deepest condolences to Maurine, Max and all the family. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Tom, Jennifer and Danny Vos
