To Steve , Jim , Mark,
We want to send our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Even though are families are miles apart and have not been able to see each other over the years, we feel your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and the days ahead. Aunt Cardy was a special lady!

I remember your Mother so well from Sunday school at First United Methodist. She was such a nice lady and very active with us. Sorry for your loss she will be fondly remembered.

Our sincere sympathy for the family and many friends of a special lady, Carmen. As you well know, she was a treasure and lived life with conviction. We met her about 30 years ago through a mutual enjoyment of "bluegrass music". She encouraged a band my husband played with (as she did with many bands); and we came to know her better at an early festival we produced in Jacksonville, IL in the 80's. Her enthusiasm for bluegrass music was contagious; her encouraging words played a big part in our production of nearly 200 concerts and festivals in 5 states. Over the years our paths crossed many times; we shared "music" for more than 20 years at the International Bluegrass Music Associations trade shows where her smile and enthusiasm was so welcoming. She became like family to us and ours.
God truly blessed us when we crossed paths with this dear lady; one we are proud to call, "friend". Til we meet again.
