Elaine always amazed my mother, Madeline Tydd, and me with her never-ending energy and her unique creative talents. She tackled projects that we couldn't imagine doing, and executed them perfectly. As Elaine was a native of the area, and we were not, she very generously shared with us over the years many of her favorite places, including the best asparagus picking spots, where to see deer (before they became a common sight), Manchester's Department Store and Soup's On in Madison, the best buffets and fish frys, and beautiful Durward's Glen. She was a truly wonderful woman who brightened the world.

Dear Elaine's family,
I only know your mom through Heritage, where our mom Bea also lives. We are so sorry for your loss. You need to know what a delight your mom was - she was always cheerful as she slowly walked about. One of they best memories is when she came into a family gathering we were having, sat down and said "I want to thank you all for coming" and smiled brightly. :) I could see she was a loving person who enjoyed being with others.
I loved reading about her glass work and gardening.
Peace to you all,
Trish May Paris and siblings
