Nancy Jo (Plummer) Blum

Before I retired in 2012 from UW Hospital, I worked closely with Nancy Jo and our potential liver transplant candidates when they first entered the system. She always had the right answer, knew the right person to call. She was so smart. Many a late Thursday afternoon, I was in her office, discussing a patient that was an add-on for the next morning's evaluation clinic. She took it all in stride. I am stunned to read of her passing. I met and worked with Nancy t UW Hospital. We became good friends and that continued up until the time of her passing. Nancy was kind, caring and giving. She was one of a kind for sure. I will remember her smile, the way she’d throw her head back and laugh and many chat sessions filled with lots of giggles. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Rest in Jesus arms Nancy. I’m so going to miss you.
