I met Ken shortly after moving to Mt. Horeb in 1985, becoming a bowling team member with him. Later I hired him to do plumbing work on our East Garfield Street house. I certainly can’t claim to know him as well as any Mt. Horeb native. But even though I left town in 1997, I still remember Ken fondly after all these years. He was such a nice person to be around. Having seen his history as written in his obituary, I wish I’d thought back then to have asked him about his early life experiences. RIP, Ken.

Sending all my love to the Landen family. This obituary is such a loving tribute to such a kind man. I remember Saturday morning bowling league well! I'm sure his bowling tips were of great service to many!! He will be missed.

Sending much love to the Landen family. Anna Lee and I have been friends since we began working together at the University in 1986 and I remember her bringing Angie and Alissa to the office. I was honored to be included in many of their family celebrations including Ken's 80th birthday. I will always remember his warmth and kindness and admire his strength and courage during difficult times.
