Dear Mike, Jess, Aiden, Kota, Ben, and family, I love you and am with you in spirit and prayer. I know Candi was a bright, loving presence whose kind heart touched everyone she met. Her warmth, laughter, and fierce care for family and friends remain with us. She loved deeply, listened without judgment, and made ordinary moments feel meaningful — morning coffee chats, small acts of generosity, the way she celebrated others’ successes. Those memories keep her spirit alive. May we honor Candi by carrying forward her compassion: checking in on one another, speaking gently, and advocating for awareness of lung illness so others might be spared the same pain.
