Doug and I met on April 20th 1970 while serving in the Army at Fort Dix New Jersey and became life long friends. We then continued on to Fort Monmouth for AIT. We continued our friendship many years by exchanging Christmas cards and an occasional phone call. A true friend for many years. I will miss him
