Nate was truly a one-of-a-kind guy. He shared his love of food, especially prime rib and Bloody Mary's with us on countless camping trips. He is the only camper we knew who would cook prime rib while camping!!! He also influenced several cooking device purchases... He always made everyone feel welcome, like he was their big brother. Rest in peace buddy, we will continue to keep watch from here.

Although time found us with distance I truly considered Nate a good friend. He was always there to help anyone and from being wrestling teammates to seeing each other around he was always good to see. Rest easy Nate and it doesn't seem fair you had the ending you did. Truly a great man.

Nate was not your average guy. Always helpful, always kind. I remember when he agreed to help me move my upright grand piano from the farmhouse to the new house in a cattle trailer. I think he regretted it later, but would never admit that. We would drive around on the back roads, headlights off in his green pick up truck with a spotlight “shining” for deer. Nate never said “no” to anything and was always up to help a friend or enjoy a couple of beers with friends. His smile and kindness will never be forgotten. Fly high, Nate!! You are missed!!
