My condolences to Darin's entire family and all his friends. My Darin was a very special person to me. He was part of my life since the day he was born. I babysat for him, loved him and cared for him as if he were my own. When he got a bit older, he babysat for my 2 son's, Rob & Bill. Sometimes they'd get into mischief; he was like an older brother to them. His uncle Bob loved him & taught him the basics of playing drums. Darin grew up n joined the service & I was very proud of him. He helped me when I needed it, we'd go to lunch (he loved spaghetti) and when he was playing in a band nearby, my family and I would go to see him play. Darin was compassionate, caring and thoughtful. He had a terrific sense of humor and gave the greatest hugs (which he taught his sons to do also). His faith, forgiving spirit and kindness to others is his legacy. He is with Jesus now; a well deserving blessing. I loved him and will always miss him. His "auntie" Linda

I’m heartbroken by the loss of Darin. He was not only a colleague but a true friend and a beautiful soul. Darin had a rare gift; his cheerful energy and kindness made everyone around him feel comfortable and valued. His presence will be deeply missed, but the impact he had on all of us will never fade.
