I was lucky enough to coach Ralph in basketball when he was a youngster. He ran point for me. We had a very special group that includes a national champion but even among all that talent Ralph stood out. He was leader, and he absolutely hated to lose. I followed Ralph on his journey thru hs n college and reconnected with him couple years ago. The only thing I saw Ralph do more than hate to lose was love his family! He was an amazing father and I loved chopping it up w him bout his daughters ball n old memories or just asking bout his folks n lil bro whom he loved so dearly. Ralph’s loss will be felt thru the entire sp community and my deepest condolences go out to his family.

Ralph played basketball with our son, Casey, for many years starting with Wildcats, then Randolph and through high school. They were teammates and friends. The Crews family became part of our basketball family. What I remember most is Ralph’s contagious smile. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences are extended to the Crews family. Ralph is my "little" cousin. I recall watching him grow up when we visited April and Ralph Jr in Wisconsin, or when they would come visit my mother and dad, Lee and Ron Carter, in Indiana.
Ralph has always had an infectious personality and he always loved his family.
He will truly be missed. I pray that his legacy continues to live on. I will be in constant prayer for his family and friends.
