I have some very fond memories of Mr. Mirshak and his wife. The 4 years of his teaching and caring during concert chior and choreliers are the most vivid of my high school experience. I will never forget he was more than just a choir director. He truly cared for and about his students and their lives. I know he is directing a chior of angels now and I can imagine the heavenly sounds he is getting out of them.🤭 Thank you for your life lessons Bob. Rest well.

Dear Carol, Rob and Lori,
I would like to express my sincere condolences for Bob’s passing. Bob was an amazing teacher, mentor, conductor, motivator, counselor and friend, not only for myself but for the hundreds of students and choral singers at MHS, Middleton Civic and beyond. His gift to us all was inspiring, abundant and ever so long lasting, even to this day. He had an enormous impact on so many lives.
Bob was instrumental in me becoming a professional singer. He was a steadfast mentor and supporter for me to chase my dreams. He planted the seed for those dreams through his his love of opera and music, his increadible musicianship, teaching skills, patience, and dedication.
Bob’s teaching went above and beyond the call. His message and energy was inspiring and motivating for all, in everything he did.
When thinking of Bob, there are so many memories that come alive and are still as vivid as if it were yesterday. As I am sure for all who knew him as well. The Chroal Concerts, Voice lessons, Recording sessions, Musicals, Choraliers, State Solo Competions, special trips to Operas, yes and even golf lessons!
The list is endless…..his legacy extraordinary…..the memories grand…..the emotions are deep and plentiful.
I am greatful and humbled to have known him. Just thanking him and Carol for all that they gave, would never be enough.
May God bless you all in this time of sorry.
Sincerely
Thomas (Tom) Murphy
