Praying for Vicki's family right now. I'm so sorry and saddened to hear this news this morning. Vicki had so many co-workers at ACS that respected her and really enjoyed seeing her move up the ranks and turn into such a great leader!! I had a different role at ACS than most by supporting the IT needs of the staff that did the "important work". I first met Vicki, if I'm not mistaken, before she moved out to the Madison office. From there, we had many talks and lunches together, while co-creating IT solutions for the staff in the Madison office. Vicki, it's not fair at all that you were taken away because of Cancer, after the years you committed to this cause. But we know God has a plan for all of us and heaven gained another strong, courageous angel when the Lord called you home. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Mark and Emma, I am sending you both love and peace during this difficult time. Vicki’s joy and love for you both was always palpable ❤️ I was blessed to meet her through Junior League when I first moved to Madison. She was an incredible leader, volunteer, and luckily, my friend. She always made me feel important and loved - like the party was finally starting because I arrived - I am sure I wasn’t the only one that felt that way in her presence. She was a kind and gracious woman and my life is better for having known her. There are no words to convey just what a light she was in this world. Vicki, I love you and thank you for loving me. Please watch over us until we join you. Cheers to you and a life well lived! ❤️

With deepest sympathy to Mark and Emma and all of Vicki’s family and friends.❤️🙏✝️ Best memories of my time with Vicki included the first time I was able to visit Cedarburg after returning from dancing with the UW Eau Claire Pom Squad in Kansas City. Lisa and her family were so very kind as to pick me up at Mitchell Field. I was planning to have a chill evening, but as I arrived at the Spatt home, Vicki was getting ready to go out clubbing. Lisa was so gracious to say if you wanna stay and we’ll watch a movie but if you wanna go out dancing with Vicki, please do so. I opted for going out dancing and had a most wonderful time tearing up the dance floor and smiling and laughing a lot all evening with Vicki and some of her Cedarburg friends! Another great memory was that Vicki had a desire to go skiing in the upper peninsula for a weekend, what I think was our senior year at Eau Claire. I told Vicki that we could stay with my grandfather who lived in Ashland and that he was quite a character. Vicki was such a gracious guest and even was up for visiting my great aunt Louise after our long days of skiing. It was a wonderful adventure and Vicki and I were very compatible travel companions!👍❤️🎿⛷️ Lastly, I wrote the poem in Memory of Vicki, as she was a part of my sisterhood through her sister, Lisa.❤️🙏✝️❤️🙏✝️ Most Beautiful Sister Most beautiful sister so close to my heart, To heaven you flew, It was your time to depart, An abundance of memories, much laughter, many smiles, I’d give anything to chat with you again, for awhile, While I still can, it’s different for me, my heart has broke open, I’m depleted of glee, Sister, dearest sister, I pray your at peace, My dear soul here on earth is laden with grief, I miss you deeply with my whole heart. Amen.
