Heather and boys,
You are in my prayers. Even though Jason was limited in his mobility, you were so great about squeezing enjoyment and gratitude out of the days you had together. May the love and laughter be what you remember most. Love, Peggy Riley

So sorry to hear of the passing of Jason. Condolences to Heather, Aiden, and Cael. I remember the times at Stoughton High with his tough determination and grit in basketball. He would never give up and fought right up to the end. He was a team leader and his teammates looked for his guidance. Jason had a great sense of humor and I loved talking to him on several occasions after he graduated from high school. He will truly be missed but remembered in our hearts forever.

I worked with Jason at MPD. Yes, he had a rough exterior, but once in a while he would crack a warm smile. RIP Jason.

Jason was a father figure to the countless young men who entered his home. His kindness, generosity, and loving personality allowed young men like my self to be a part of his family. The countless lives he changed for the better will never be forgotten, and they are prime examples of how much love he had in his heart. Every father loves their sons, but I’m not sure I’ve seen a father that loved his sons as much as Jason did, and if you were a friend of his sons, he loved you too. His determination and hard work ethic is something everyone who grew up on Pine St will continue to carry with them. My favorite memories with him were playing basketball in the driveway or baseball in the front yard. He took a lot of joy in seeing all the boys, and whenever we got a big game of basketball, football, or baseball going he always made sure to get a team picture. I remember whenever there was a sleepover at the McGee house he would always come down before bed and play games of mini-hoop basketball or ping pong even though he had to get up early for work.
Jason’s impact on countless lives will carry on his legacy for years to come. He will be missed everyday, and may he rest in peace.
