I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Percy's passing. He was my art teacher for many years starting at Schenk and we were in touch beyond that time. He had a big impact on me and my following art beyond that time in his classes Schenk. Wow, what a huge loss!

Heartbroken over the loss of Greg. Much love to Chris, Migs and the family. So many good memories of playing music around southern WI with him and the guys in Spanky, and our several reunions over the years. He was always a joy to be around - humorous, quick witted, excellent comedic timing. If you haven’t seen it first hand, here he is playing a song he wrote in the early 80’s:

Greg will live on through his wonderful family and many friends. He will also be remembered for his artistic legacy through his music and art contributions. My Winnequah School students were very lucky to have performed a concert with him that featured his songs.
I am also remembering a conversation with a friend who taught art in Pennsylvania who used his Songs in the Key of Art in her classroom to teach her kids about artists and their lives. She was a big fan! I have no doubt there are art teachers all over the country that have appreciated his contributions to art education.
He was a rock star, and I was lucky to know him!
