My first memory of Julie was from her service on the City Council. I was trying to get stop signs installed on Stonefield Road and she adamantly opposed them. We never met at that point, but my opinion was not high.
Fast forward a few years and I was running for Mayor. Julie approached me and offered to be my campaign manager. She was just what my campaign needed. She was a whirlwind of activity offering critical advice and tracking local voting trends. All of this while running a successful attorney’s business.
I did become mayor and happily appointed Julie to be the city’s resident representative on the Fire Commission.
Julie eventually began attending my weekly mayors luncheon group and participated in that right up to the end. Our group is devastated by the passing of this great lady and will truly miss her. RIP my friend…

I knew Julie as our lawyer and also through my son, Lief Olsen. She shared common sense and often did it with humor. She will be missed and my sincere condolences to her family.

Jason and family,
Heartfelt condolences to all.
Julie was a special person in my life as through the Optimist years, as my personal attorney and trusted friend. This past fall I watched Julie take the grandkids (with Jason) golfing at Pleasant View... what a wonderful grandma she was.. God Bless All- Tom Johnson

I met Julie in 1964, when both of us were enrolled in a Spanish immersion program in the town of Jalapa in Mexico — Julie was a 21-year-old college student and I was a 16-year-old high school student. Julie took me under her wing, and the two of us and our families have been friends since then. It was great to have Julie to count on; if one of her friends had a problem, we could rely on her to have a common-sense approach to solve it. She was extremely loyal and very generous with her time. And, she was great to be with. There was always a lot of fun and laughter. Above all, she cherished her family, and I know that they will miss her greatly, as will I and the rest of my family.
