As Co-Chair of the WHEA Member Services committee it was my privilege to work with Jane as we produced newsletters, directories and other publications together for over 20 years. WHEA made Jane an honorary member in 2004 and this year she was eligible for a commemorative 20-yr plaque. Since she was ill at the time of the conference in early October I mailed her plaque to her on Oct 7th. She received it on October 9th and sent me a message on October 10th thanking me for the award, indicating it was very special to her. That was the last time we spoke with one another. She dedicated her working life to WHEA over the past 20 yrs, and her personal life to her family. She could always make lemonade whenever lemons were thrown at her, but sadly, not this last time. WHEA has lost one of it's greatest resources and I have a giant hole in my heart. Roger Elliott

To the Reinertson family…. I was saddened to hear this about Jane. While not in the same class (1972), interactions in our early years in Valders at school or Faith Lutheran with a couple of you, including Jane. Even in later years… looking at you Peter! (Golf… Go Valders!) I just wanted to offer my condolences to the family. Hold tight to the memories. 💕 Mary Glaeser

I was deeply saddened to hear about Jane Bruvold’s passing. As the admin for WHEA, Jane was an integral part of the organization and always made sure everything ran smoothly. Her incredible attention to detail, constant helpfulness, and those gentle reminders when I needed them most were a true gift. She made signing up our team for the yearly conference and other WHEA events much easier, and I always appreciated her professionalism and kindness. Jane will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of working with her. My thoughts are with her family and all of us who were fortunate enough to know her. With heartfelt condolences, Tim Larson

I have the best memories of my time with Jane at the Reinertson family farm. Jane was a great friend to me. Everyone in the family had a big heart and a fun sense of humor. I am grateful for my time with the Reinertson family.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of our dear friend. Jane was a very special person. I enjoyed working with her over the years to help set up over 25 Med Gas classes & seminars for WHEA. Whether it was a remote location, the annual conference, or a webinar. She was always so pleasant, detailed and fun to be around. I will truly miss her smile. Memory Eternal. 🙏❤ Tom Spremo
