I was delighted to meet Bernadette when she and Mike visited Memphis a few years ago. She was truly a joy to be with and I was delighted to see them so happy! May Bernadette’s memory always be a blessing.

I worked in and around Mt Horeb and met June, Verlyn and later Bernadette. June shared these fantastic molasses cookies with me on occasion, they were the best ever. She told me they were her daughter Bernadette's special recipe. I met Bernadette later and admired the way she cared for her parents and family. Rest in peace Bernadette. Dan Guilfoil, Madison
