MADISON - Ronald Lee Karnitz, age 81, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024. He was born on May 14, 1943, in Two Rivers, Wis., the son of Herman and Alvina (Duprey) Karnitz.

Ronald’s career started in the bakery industry where he worked for Dick Brothers Bakery, in Manitowoc, and then he came to Madison where he was employed at Gardner Bakery. Later, he switched his field to maintenance. He worked for many different businesses over the years but primarily for UW-Madison Housing.
