Giovanna (Paolone) Delisio, beloved Wife of 58 years, Mother and Nonna, passed away in the evening of Oct. 16, 2023, in Verona, Wis. Giovanna was born in Gagliano Aterno, Italy on April 19, 1934, to Rocco and Antonina Paolone.

Giovana moved to Canada when she was 18 and two years later, she moved to North Hollywood, Calif., where she married her husband. She was a born leader and was instrumental in the formation and startup of the Abruzzesi é Molisani di California Italian Club where she had the honor of being President of the Club at two different times. She also cared for some neighborhood children during her years of living in North Hollywood, one of which she stayed in touch with until her passing.

She also loved going on adventures with family and friends, and one of her favorite past times, among others, included playing the slot machines.

God, family, friends, traveling, and adventures were the loves of her life.
