Many of my youth sports experiences and memories have been with your family. Going back 30 years I will always remember Lori/Mom/Mrs. Haack picking us up and running us to practices and games... a van full.... and always had snacks and drinks in the van ready for us! Always a smile!!!

To Lori's Family, Sorry to hear of your loss. We knew Lori and her family when they lived on the farm in MH. When we think of the Van Egtern's, we think of a happy smiling family. God's Peace as you grieve this precious person.

John,
What a sad and shocking thing it was to read the Sunday obits last week-end. You and Lori were a great pair and you were great parents. Cancer is a horrible thing to watch someone go through, and she was way too young to leave you. She is going to leave a hugh hole in your family and she will be dearly missed. Make sure you allow yourself to grieve. When you're alone let yourself cry your heart out. You're a good friend and sometime down the road if you feel like it, give me a call and we can meet and just talk. I live in Verona (608-733-7107)
Hang in there buddy, Bob Dettwiler
