Dave and Sheri are the reason we came to Darlington. Sheri and I sang weddings and funerals together. They teased me about the famous lost camel in the music room. (I still have a camel lamp she gave me.) Those were wonderful years when Dave was principal. Great memories. ❤️

Sheri was a great soul of pure kindness and simplicity who had the gift and love to make me feel straight at home and with family when they welcomed me at 15 years old. May she rest in peace next to her beloved Dave and live for ever in the memory and hearts of all we got to known and love her. Her son… Julio

Similar to the thoughts expressed by my former colleague, Todd Richmond, "those were wonderful years when Dave was principal." Dave might have been responsible for getting me to come to Darlington to teach and coach, but Sheri was one of the reasons that I never left. The Chellevolds, along with the Osterdays and Whitfords (and others) made me feel like family. It was Sheri who recruited me to do the public relations for the fall musicals. I even remember exactly her sales pitch: "There comes a time that a new Redbird has to spread his wings and get involved." In her own way, she was just as much a mentor to me...as Dave was in my professional life. Rest in peace, Sheri.

My most sincere sympathy to all of Sheri's family on her passing. I treasured her friendship. It was Sheri who introduced me to the Plattville Chorale and we 'did' a number of funerals together. Always so friendly and kind.
