My beloved brother, you lived marvelously, laughed contagiously, shared abundantly, spoke kindly with affection and humor, led wisely, worked diligently, played creatively…and you have left a huge hole in our fellowship. I trust you and my Ron are enjoying many memories and laughing with contented humor and inexpressible Joy. Your Sis in Jesus, LauraJ

I had a memorable interaction with Uncle Ron that last time I visited Wisconsin and went up to the farm. That was about 3 summers ago, I believe. I wandered off to check out the beautiful horses and right behind me comes Ron to accompany me. We start talking about the horses and he’s answering all my questions. And even though I’ve honestly had few interactions with Uncle Ron, in that moment I could feel is passion and love for those free-spirited animals. He made me feel really welcome and I just loved hearing him talk about those horses as we gazed at them from a distance. Just from that small interaction I could tell that Ron had a lot of kindness and love. He was a really great guy. Rest in Peace, Uncle Ron, I hope you are riding free with those horses in Heaven.
