Scott and I would occasionally play dueling pianos in the high school music room. He, without fail, won. When he signed my year book he wrote, “You use too much damper pedal.” And that was it. He signed it Fingers Patchin and it made me laugh. It was so Scott-like. He was a true musician and a natural actor who loved performing. I loved his quick wit along with his teasing. My sympathies to the Patchin family for the loss of this fine man. He will be missed. Diane (Springer) Lowe
