Carol J. Hoyer

Carol and I could share memories of growing up in one of Eleanor Roosevelt’s green belt communities. Carol from Greendale in Wisconsin and myself from Greenhill’s in Ohio by Cincinnati. We shared many happy times together with our children!

My sincere condolences to family and friends of Carol. I share the high school experience with Carol at Greendale High School. I remember her as always having a smile on her face and a joyous, positive attitude. I moved away shortly after school but recently connected with classmates and learned of her illness. I am so sad to learn of Carol's death .... she and Bill and family were central to my time as a staff person at Marquette Elementary. Carol was a dedicated member of this community -- and we are all better for her work, love, and commitment to making the world a better, more just place.

I, Hediye Miras, was a Foreign Exchange AFS Student at Greendale High School 1966. I have beautiful memories in that one year in Greendale with her. I was so sad when I heard she is no longer with us. May she rest in peace. Love you Carol❤️🙏
