Goldie Elaine Hurley

Goldie was a special -very special hard working lady with our Met Set members and encouraged everyone she worked with. I am so thankful to have known her. Prayers for comfort for Larry and her family.

Larry, my most heartfelt condolences at Goldie's passing. Though I only met the two of you briefly at Metropolitan events I found both of your enthusiasm for the cars and their owners very infectious! Please pass my condolences on too to your daughter(?) State Trooper Hurley whom I met on the side of the highway as I was leaving the 2011 Kenosha Met International - I was replacing a troublesome coil in my Met when she stopped to make sure I was ok. When I noticed her nametag - I asked if she knew you and she said "Yes, they're my folks!" I begged her not to tell you that she found me on the side of the road and she laughed and said "Too late!" I've told that story many times and it always brings a smile. The two of you did so much for our club and are remembered often whenever we all come together. Dale Carrington
