Mary your beautiful smile and kindness was known by many and will be missed. Jimmy and Paul so sorry for your loss. Words cannot fill the void left in your hearts but remember she loved you with her whole heart. Please reach out if/when you need. Mary Lee have a cold one and dance to a Buffett song with Mike and Robbie. You will be in my heart and I will smile with great memories.

So sad to hear of Mary’s passing. I knew her through her involvement with Jimmy’s Special Olympics team. She was so proud of him and his good friend Ron! They and the rest of her family and many friends will be held deeply in our hearts. We’ll have your back Jimmy! Coach Thom

I coached(volunteered) at the YMCA/special needs programs where my cousin, Ron Gausmann participated. I met his best buddy, Jim Smail thru that program. I then got to know Mary. She was so generous to Ron and included him on several adventures. Such a kind soul. RIP, Mary

I was so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I had the pleasure of serving with her on the board of the Madison Area Down Syndrome Society. She was a wonderful advocate and was extremely generous with her time. She volunteered at so many events. I can still picture her sorting a huge pile of Buddy Walk t-shirts with a smile on her face. My thoughts are with Jimmy and the rest of her family. She will be deeply missed.

I got to know Mary at Anytime Fitness. We have been in the same workout group for about 3 years. She was always such a great inspiration. We developed a nice friendship and I really miss her positive, smiling self. My heartfelt condolences to Jimmy and Paul and the rest of her family. 💔
