I first met Lorraine when they were in Delavan, though my husband had known Edward professionally much earlier. Then they were in Kenosha when we came to the Milwaukee area and we got to know them better. Since our husbands were both pastors and Lorraine and I had been high School teachers, we had a lot in common. Then finally they moved to McFarland where we were guests in their lovely condo. As a home-ec teacher Lorraine knew how to treat dinner guests in grand style. As we grew older together we kept in touch in spite of the distance. Before COVID came along Edward and Lorraine rode with other mutual friends from Madison to a gathering at our house in Franklin twice a year. Even with her memory loss, she knew we were all her friends. She remains a treasure in our memory.

My children and I met Lorraine and Edward while he was Pastor of our church in Delavan. Lorraine was the sweetest lady, could cook up a storm and always helping with whatever needed to be done. Lorraine and Edward were quite the team. We so enjoyed knowing them and my children learnt a lot from both as well. I know Edward will miss his soul mate and love of his life; for this I'm so very sad. The relief is that we know they will meet again and have the most blessed reunion. Prayers and love to Edward and all of Lorraine's family and loved ones. God Bless you all, Mary, Andrew and Jess Rima

Lorraine made a stole I still use and bears for our children when they were baptized. A gifted, patient and faithful woman, and fabulous host in town or at the cottage. Lorraine, you made life a bit more wonder-ful. Thank you. Don Francis
