I have a lot of memories of Sharon. The one that puts a big smile on my face is when she let my Mother hold her baby. My Mom was in an electric wheelchair with MS so difficult for her but she loved to hold babies and love on them. Knowing that Sharon made it possible for her and we all enjoyed the experience and the happiness it brought. Smiles all around. The other great memory was all the texting and talking we did about her upcoming hip surgery. Since I had both mine already done I could encourage and explain the process from before, during, and after. We really connected and stayed connected as we texted back and forth keeping each other up to date. She was always willing to help in any way she could and encouraged me. I’m going to miss her so much! Love, Alice

I grew up with Sharon when she lived in Normal, IL. She lived next door and we always talked when she was around. Also when she was growing up she followed my mother around, and my father said she was my mother's little shadow.

Sharon was so important to the success of Olbrich Botanical Gardens. Her pictures and stories in the press spread the word "it was the place to be". She loved her flowers and I loved seeing her posts of those flowers. She was so fun to watch in community theater. She was part of a wonderful family and will be missed by all. Mauretta Mattison
