In her younger years, Carolyn enjoyed sailing and racing sailboats. Her stepfather taught her the art of fly fishing and how to duck hunt. She enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. Carolyn liked watching sports on TV, especially the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, and golf. Her family brought her the greatest joy and she loved spending time with them.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Jeri Sharpe Lambert (Gary), Richard Mason Sharpe (Nanette), and Robert Alair Sharpe II (Valorie); seven grandchildren (who called her “Gammar”), Jamison (Gladys), Justin Sharpe, Kara (David), Nicole (Joel), Jeffrey, Stewart and Maximilian; five great-grandchildren, Isabel Leah (Leah suggested by Gammar), Lucas, Jeffrey, Caroline and Rylan Mason; cousin, Donald Allerton Johnston III; Fead half-siblings, Susan Maxwell, Beverly Janet (George) and Edward Maxwell (Diane); cousins; and nieces and nephews.
