Jan, Connie and myself are so sorry for your and your families loss of Ed. Ed was such a mentor to myself and so many others. Ed was such a great person, always remember that he was the very 1st Electrical Inspector I had encountered and how I always had so much respect for him. Ed has done so much for the electrical industry not only in Wisconsin, where he made such a huge positive impact, but all over the United States, where he was so respected for his knowledge of the electrical Codes and practices. Prayers to you and your family.

Ed was a valued expert on the National and Wisconsin Electrical Code. I was also a UW EE grad and worked for the Public Service Commission. We served on each other's electrical code committees during the periodical revision of the Wisconsin codes and consulted each other on electrical safety questions. Condolences to his family.
