I had the privilege of working with Jim for his entire career at the Wisconsin State Patrol, he always took extra care of me. If I stopped at District 1 Headquarters he would always ask me if I needed anything. He always managed too find what I wanted and many, many times more then I requested. He was no.# 1 in my book, just a wonderful person to work around. I can't remember stopping at District at Jim didn't take time to at least say hi. Just so happy to have been a friend and known Jim. My "GOD" be with you and the family. He was a wonderful human being.

I'm very sorry to hear about Jim's passing. When I moved into the neighborhood some 26 years ago, Betsey and Jim were walking and stopped and introduced themselves. He asked me if I knew a Ralph from The Echo Tavern long ago? I said, he was my grandfather and the stories started! He even had some old pictures he gave me. He will be greatly missed but now he's back with Betsey and I'm sure he pain free and overjoyed to be back with his love. Rest in peace Jim. Doreen Nachreiner
