I remember the first time I saw Jordan was at Skylar's baseball game at the Elementary school. He was running down the playground hill, going as fast as he could and Mom (Ashley) was right behind him trying to catch up. You had every parent laughing their head off at you trying to corral him. Oh how I wish those time could be relived. He was such a darling child, all bundled up watching Skylar's football games and attending his basketball games. I will cherish those moments and never forget all the love he got from you and your family and all his brothers best friends. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I have had the pleasure of caring for Jordan for the past year. I have said this to many people including Ashley but Jordan was a true inspiration to me. He is a superhero among superheroes. He could be strong because Ashley was strong for him. Jordan was blessed to have a great family in his life. I don't know how you all did it but everything you did was with grace and dignity. The entire family is inspiring. I will never forget Jordan or his love for superheroes. He is now among the angels and superheroes in heaven. Bless you all and peace be with you. Karen Schlageter

I was so lucky to have know Jordan and his mom Ashley through the AFCH dialysis clinic. Jordan was so personable, courageous, smart , funny - one of the COOLEST kids I have ever had the honor to work with. Ashley is also the BEST mom, in the way she loved this child, through thick and thin, never ending treatments and hospitalizations. You two were such a team and the way you were able to support him through the difficult, painful days is the stuff of a true super hero. It is unbearable to see your child suffer and your strength make it all bearable for him. I know he helped you get through it as well. Your love and unwavering support truly helped him live the best life. It always breaks my heart when the most amazing families have to bear the most tragic loss like this. But I believe Jordan will live on in everyone he touched, and his example will continue to inspire many. Thank you all for letting us into your lives. I will forever see his face and hear his laugh with anything marvel related. :) My thoughts are with you, and I am sending much love to your whole family. Julie Strang MSW
