My condolences to the family. He was a terrific guy. I new him from the city garage. He was excellent in keeping those squad cars on patrol in all weather no matter what. A great person!! Thanks Lowell!

Our paths crossed while working together at Motor Equipment on North First Street for the City of Madison. Lowell was a good man and always expressed a deep pride of family and faith. As a mechanic, fixing cars wasn’t just a job; it was an activity he enjoyed. He had a genuine appreciation for the styling, engineering and sheer beauty of autos from the golden age of the 1950's and 60's. I am grateful that we had the time we did as co-workers and were able to share some memorable moments. May the memories of a life well-lived ease your grief and provide comfort during this difficult time. With deep sympathy, Tom Fontana

I remember Lowel growing up living across the street. When my car was in a accident when I was grown-I looked out my window and there he was. Looking at my car and giving advise. He did the same thing when my sister was in a accident. I looked out my window and there her was. Always liking to help and talk. So sorry for the family. RIP
