Shelby was kind to all and she had so much enthusiasm for others! Some years ago, I was doing Bakken genealogy research on my family and she sent me these pictures which I treasure. Bottom left is my brother Terry Slominski with Shelby and my older brother Sidney on the back steps of our home in Gary Indiana in the late 1950s when they came to visit us. The pictures in middle and right are from the early 1960s on the Hamburg farm I believe. I remember going to visit that farm in the late 60s and Shelby taking us on a very nice walk as cousins in the peaceful quiet outdoors. It was so refreshing from city life! Peace be with you Shelby.
