Keith, Brandon, and Christa- We are so sorry for your loss of Diane. She was simply an amazing person. I always felt she was the human form of an unicorn - beautiful, smart, gracious, gentle, kind, unique and special, and spreading love, joy, laughter, and rainbows everywhere she went and with everyone she interacted. We will cherish our memories, especially from our slumber party weekends full of excursions to the ferry or pumpkin patch, complete with Diane telling stories that would cause me to double over in pain from laughter, and I’ll especially cherish our long phone calls when we first met and became friends that were full of shared experiences, kindness, love, and laughter. Diane was always radiating kindness, even when she was battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer - she was worried about others and would check in on her friends and family daily. Diane, you are so missed. I find myself daily wanting to text you and share something about my day and check in on you and see how you are. May you be free from suffering, pain, and covered in all the love, kindness, and joy that you made possible on this earth. With sympathy and love, Jessica & Venkat.
