Before her health failed, she was an avid walker and spent time walking the track in Oregon with her BFF, Nola.

Marilyn loved traveling with her family on many trips to Florida and national parks and with her relatives, neighbors and friends on several cruises that included Alaska and Hawaii. Since her retirement, she and Gary traveled to many parts of the U.S. and spent part of their winters in Florida.
