I have many childhood memories of LeRoy. In fact, I indirectly owe my very existence to him. When my father returned from the US to Spain, they forged a friendship and mentorship bond and LeRoy recommended that he go to the US and study for the ministry, obviously recommending the school he himself had attended. That is where my father met my mother...and the training he received there was pivotal in his ministry. I remember always seeing kindness and love in his eyes, as a boy. There was a palpable feeling of grace and joy about him. I know his joy is now full as he hears the words "Well done" and enters into the joy of his Lord. My heart goes out to all the grieving family, my dear friends.
